Why Predictfully Chose Avalanche

When you’re building something as ambitious as Predictfully, a free-to-play sports prediction platform that aims to bring clubs, creators, and fans together, you spend a lot of time weighing decisions that will shape your future. One of the biggest of those decisions was: which chain to build on?

On paper, there are plenty of options. Every chain promises speed, scalability, and low fees. And to be fair, most of them can deliver on at least part of that promise. But the more I explored, the clearer it became that the right chain wasn’t just about the tech. It was about the people.

The Avalanche Moment

I met Amy from Avalanche at the Summit, and what struck me right away was how different the interaction felt. There was no hard sell, no generic talking points, just a genuine curiosity about what I was building and how Avalanche could help.

That conversation didn’t end at the Summit. Amy followed up, and from there, it was a chain reaction of support. Every person I spoke with, from leadership to developers to community members, was thorough, interested, supportive, and, above all, creative.

That’s rare in this space. Too often, projects are left to figure things out alone. With Avalanche, I never felt like just another project trying to make noise. I felt like part of something bigger, with people who genuinely wanted us to win.

The Tech Is Great - But That’s the Baseline

Don’t get me wrong, the technology played a role in the decision. Predictfully needs fast, reliable infrastructure to handle thousands of users making real-time predictions during live games. Avalanche delivers that with ease. Transactions are quick, fees are low, and the network is battle-tested.

But here’s the thing: good tech is the baseline. What sets Avalanche apart is that human layer, the leadership, the ecosystem, and the community that make you feel like you’re building together, not just building on.

A Partnership, Not Just a Platform

When you know a chain wants you to win, it changes the way you operate. It gives you confidence to take risks, to innovate faster, and to know that if you hit a wall, there are people ready to help you find a way around it.

That sense of partnership is what sold me. It’s why Predictfully is launching on Avalanche, and it’s why I’m excited for what comes next.

Because building a product is more that code and contracts, it’s the people you’re building with. And when you find a team and a community that truly believe in what you’re doing, you hold onto that.

With Avalanche, we did more than find a home for Predictfully. We found a partner. And that makes all the difference.
